Friedrich Langer

Friedrich Langer began his career in manufacturing in 1995, quickly advancing into international roles across Asia, including Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. In 1999, he entered the consulting industry with Ernst & Young in Austria, later leading Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Consulting in Bratislava. He became a partner at Deloitte & Touche in CEE Prague / Bratislava, before founding his own consulting group in 2006, focusing on infrastructure projects.

In 2014, Friedrich returned to his IT roots, based in Singapore. From 2017, he worked in Cyprus, where he developed the Matrix42 strategy for PBCS. He is also overseeing business development efforts with the teams in Slovenia and Luxembourg for the industry-shaping Enterprise Information Solution. Since 2024, he has served as Director of Business Development for Cybersecurity at PBCS Group, based in East London, South Africa. 

 

In this role, he drives innovation, builds strategic partnerships, and supports clients in developing robust cybersecurity frameworks aligned with global standards. His international perspective and cross-industry experience make him a key force in expanding PBCS’s footprint in emerging markets.

 

Friedrich is happily married and a proud father of three daughters. He is a passionate skier, an enthusiastic golfer, and still dreams of one day setting sail on a once-in-a-lifetime sailing trip.
